Nutech Security has been growing steadily across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty, and we're not slowing down. After successfully expanding into Hamilton, we're now re-establishing our Rotorua branch — and we want an experienced Electronic Security Technician to help lead that next chapter. This isn't a leap of faith. We already have a strong, established customer base in Rotorua, including several high-profile commercial clients. What we're building now is a dedicated local team to support them — and to grow with them. About the Role As our Rotorua-based Security Technician, you'll work across a broad range of electronic security projects and service work, including: Servicing and maintaining a wide range of electronic security systems Installing, programming, and commissioning new and emerging technologies Diagnosing faults and providing technical solutions Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships Supporting the ongoing growth of our Rotorua operations Working collaboratively with our Tauranga and Hamilton teams to support customers across the wider region What We're Looking For Technical expertise — experience installing, servicing, or maintaining electronic security systems or related technologies Ability to work independently — confident managing your own workload and solving problems with minimal supervision Team-focused attitude — Rotorua is your base, but you'll work closely with our wider Tauranga and Hamilton teams A growth mindset — motivated to develop alongside a business that's actively expanding, and to take ownership as opportunities arise Strong communication skills — professional and confident with clients and colleagues alike Product knowledge — experience with Inner Range, Protégé, Gallagher, Paradox, Bosch, Hikvision, Hanwha, or similar (training provided) Security qualifications & licensing (COA, Site Safe, or similar) preferred Full, clean NZ driver's licence Legal right to work in New Zealand What We Offer Signing bonus on successful appointment Competitive hourly rate + allowances based on experience and capability Company vehicle, phone, and laptop Relocation assistance available for the right candidate (within New Zealand) Ongoing training and genuine professional development Clear, realistic pathways for progression as we continue to expand The chance to help shape and grow the Rotorua branch, backed by an already-established customer base Exposure to a wide mix of residential, commercial, and high-profile sites A supportive, positive team culture where your contribution actually counts Stability.
