Menzies Aviation – Auckland airport, North Island Menzies Aviation (NZ) Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Health, Safety and Compliance Officer to join our team at Auckland Airport. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees across our airside operations. What You will be doing Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments Support and promote a proactive safety culture across airside operations Maintain and monitor the Safety Management System Ensure compliance with aviation and OH&S regulatory requirements Assist with investigations, reporting, and corrective actions Engage with internal teams and key stakeholders to strengthen safety performance Conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards Providing training and support to managers and employees on health and safety practices Maintaining detailed records and reporting on health and safety performance metrics Promoting a strong safety culture and advocating for continuous improvement in health and safety practices What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the aviation or logistics industry Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and best practices Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement About us Menzies Aviation (NZ) Ltd is a leading global provider of airport services, including ground handling, cargo operations and fuel services.
