About the Role As a member of our Grounds Team, you will be involved in: Maintaining gardens, lawns and landscaped areas to a high standard Planting, pruning, weeding and general garden care Operating horticultural and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively Assisting with hard and soft landscaping projects Supporting tree and outdoor maintenance work Maintaining tidy, attractive outdoor environments for residents and visitors Working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a positive workplace culture About You We're looking for someone who: Has experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping or a related field Holds a current full driver's licence Enjoys working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Is physically capable of carrying out active, hands‑on work Takes pride in producing high‑quality work Can work independently and as part of a team Is reliable, positive and willing to learn Enjoys interacting with people and providing friendly service to residents Has experience operating horticultural or landscaping equipment A Level 3 qualification in Amenity Horticulture (or a related field) would be an advantage but is not essential. This role provides the opportunity to work across our villages, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of a wide range of gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces. Appointment to this Position The safety and wellbeing of our residents is important to us. As part of our recruitment process, the successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment Police Vetting check.
