Flight Agent- Airline Catering

LSG Group – Auckland airport, North Island LSG Sky Chefs caters to the majority of airlines operating to New Zealand, delivering world-class onboard dining experiences. We are looking for a reliable and detail focused individual to represent our business and products to airline crew at Auckland Airport. This is a key position as it liaises with the airline crew and carries out the final handover of our products and services before departure. Your work starts at our facility where you check the entire catering load for a flight to make sure everything is there including special request items. You then go to the aircraft and update the crew aboard the aircraft. You will review the catering manifest and ensure they know where any special-order items are located. You may also take additional orders from the crew and you will resolve any problems or concerns they may have. Applicants for this position need; A customer service attitude A "can do" approach to the job and the ability to work with other teams to get the job done A good knowledge of airline requirements processes would be advantageous Attention to detail even under the pressure of tight deadlines Professional grooming and presentation Good communication skills written and spoken English. (a second language may be an advantage) An excellent attendance record and focused attitude at work A current full driver license (manual) and ability to gain an airside security pass. To be able to work weekends and shiftwork Applicants will undergo security clearance screening and must have a clean criminal convictions history This position is waged and is covered by a Collective Employment Agreement.
