GVI Logistics Ltd – Auckland airport, North Island GVI Logistics is an International logistics provider handling the Import and Export of both Dry and Perishable Cargo by Air and Ocean, Customs Brokerage, Event Logistics and Third-Party Logistics. We are looking for a Warehouse Store Person to join our Auckland Airport based team. This is a full-time permanent position Standard hours for this role are 8:00am -4:30pm, but the applicant must flexible, willing and able to cover the afternoon/evening shift as required to cover leave during our peak season. The attributes we are seeking for this role is someone hardworking with a happy disposition, physically fit as heavy lifting will be required, honest, reliable, adaptable, have good communication skills and a high attention to detail. This position involves general warehousing duties including the checking in of import cargo, loading and unloading of air and ocean freight consignments, pick and pack of customer orders, along with a good knowledge and understanding of 3PL processes and systems. Previous experience in ELA & chiller warehouse environments is preferable. Preference will also be given to candidates with previous Produce handling experience and a good understanding of Import Biosecurity requirements. A current class 1 full driver licence and forklift licence are essential for you to fulfil your duties in this role. A class 2 or 4 truck licence is also an advantage however not essential as we will put the right candidate through training if required. You must have a clean criminal record, be willing to undertake a Ministry of Justice Security Check and a pre-employment drug test. #J-18808-Ljbffr
