Wellington After Hours Veterinary Clinic – Wellington Central, North Island Emergency Veterinary Nurse at Wellington After Hours Veterinary Clinic. Wellington's only dedicated after-hours emergency clinic, expanding space and capabilities. The role involves triage, hospital and ICU nursing, surgical and anaesthesia support with a varied and fast-paced caseload. The clinic is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and a comprehensive in‑house lab. Key responsibilities Triage patients with calm, clear communication and empathy Place IVs, perform venipuncture, and run in‑house diagnostics Provide surgical and anaesthesia support Deliver attentive, high-level care to hospitalised and critical patients About you A recognised veterinary nursing qualification 2+ years clinical nursing experience Confidence, compassion, and resilience under pressure Strong initiative and a commitment to ongoing learning NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa About us Wellington's only dedicated after-hours emergency clinic.
