About the role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join Elderly Assist Limited on a part-time basis working at our Panmure depot in Auckland and in the community working with our clients in their homes. This is a strategic leadership position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services and the wellbeing of both our team members and the elderly clients we support. As a Team Leader, you will oversee and manage the team as they assist our clients and ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and our commitment to providing dignity and support to vulnerable members of our community. Key responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team providing clear direction, guidance, and motivation to ensure quality service delivery Lead a team as they downsize, declutter, pack, move and unpack our clients to new accommodation. Ensure our services are delivered in accordance with company policies, procedures, and oversee health and safety compliance, including incident reporting and implementing corrective actions. Liaise with clients and their families to ensure satisfaction with services and address any concerns What we are looking for Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support team members effectively Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with our team, clients, families, and management Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage competing demands Problem-solving ability and sound judgment to make decisions that prioritise client wellbeing and operational efficiency A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with elderly individuals and their families Reliability and flexibility to work part-time hours that may include early mornings and some Saturday morningsweekend shifts as required What we offer Part-time working arrangements.
