Tribe Recruitment – Auckland, North Island This is a 2–3 month temporary role, with full-time hours, based onsite in Remuera. Lead a team of 10–12 across medical reception and back-office administration, while staying involved in the day-to-day administration Be the go-to person for the team, coordinating priorities, supporting daily operations and resolving issues as they arise. Oversee workload, staff allocations, inboxes and key KPIs. Maintain high standards across front desk operations, patient service and the office environment. Work closely with doctors, medical secretaries and the Clinic Manager to address service-related matters and ensure patient and practice needs are well supported. Oversee the patient journey from first contact through to appointments, billing, documentation and follow-up, helping ensure a smooth and professional experience. Champion improvements to administrative processes, systems and ways of working to strengthen service delivery and clinic efficiency. What You’ll Bring Proven experience leading a team, including managing workload and competing priorities. Resilient and process-focused, with the confidence to handle challenging conversations when required. Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills, with a calm, respectful and empathetic approach. Excellent organisation and attention to detail. A proactive leadership style, with the confidence to provide guidance, feedback, coaching and accountability. Experience in the medical sector is beneficial.
