As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated electrical and electronic equipment at customer sites. You'll work closely with customers, technical specialists, and service teams to ensure equipment performance, maximize uptime, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations Respond to service calls and corrective maintenance requests in line with service agreements and performance targets Conduct preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues Provide customer training and technical support as required Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and maintenance records accurately and on time Manage spare parts, repairs, and inventory cycles efficiently Analyse equipment performance trends and recommend improvements where applicable Support revenue-generating service initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance customer value Collaborate with Product Specialists and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues Maintain tools and test equipment to required calibration and operational standards About you Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical qualification Alternatively, 5+ years' relevant experience in a field service, electrical, or mechanical engineering environment Minimum 3 years' experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical or electronic equipment in the field Strong ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation Experience working with electromechanical systems and customer-facing service environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously #J-18808-Ljbffr
