Job Description

In this role, you will lead the PR, Advocacy & Events for our Consumer Products Division in New Zealand. You will be responsible for translating ANZ and international brand visions into local success stories through high-impact communication and advocacy. Localise and execute PR & Advocacy communication strategies in consistency with international communication and ANZ business strategy. Lead divisional PR relations, managing image and press requests while identifying proactive media opportunities. Execute integrated communication campaigns and brand events in close collaboration with marketing and Category Activation teams. Initiate and manage influencer relationships, driving both organic advocacy and supporting paid campaigns where required. Oversee the end-to-end logistics of the PR division, including press sample management and mass send-outs. Track media coverage and drive PR results, providing monthly reports to wider brand teams and internal stakeholders. Manage event and campaign costs within allocated budgets, including PO management and vendor set-up. Work closely with external agencies and ANZ marketing teams to ensure consistency and excellence in all local PR initiatives. About you Proven experience in PR, Advocacy, or Communications, ideally within the beauty or lifestyle industry. An established network and a deep understanding of the New Zealand media and influencer landscape. A strategic mindset with the ability to execute creative 360 campaigns from concept to completion. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships. A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across local New Zealand teams and broader ANZ regional structures. Resilience and agility, with the capacity to manage the fast-paced nature of a fixed-term contract.
