Production Team Member/Supervisor

The Role: Reporting to ourProduction Manager, you will be part of production side of things. We have a small (but amazing)team and it will be your role to work with them and producingall of our products. We are still a small business so we’re not shying away from the fact that in this role you’ll need to cover many aspects of production – from batching up to daily washkdowns. You’ll understand food production and take great care and pride in producingconsistent qualitygreat food. You will have worked in an approved food manufacturing and understand and take initiative on all aspects of food production,quality, food safety and Health & Safety. Thesearekeyrolesin creating the beautiful productsday in and day outwhich define us and which our customers love. We are growing so average hours per week are 45..... 8.5 hrs per day with 1-2 x 10 hour days included in the week. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure production schedules are achieved. Batching and manufacturingof product as per the agreed schedule,on time and in full Following recipes and being 100% accurate in recipe management Weighing out ingredients and checking quality Running key machine operations Consistent delivery of product adhering to our quality parameters Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Following cleaninginstructions and Good Manufacturing Practises Deliver on the accurate and timely fulfilment of orders; training; and other requests Work collaboratively with all team members to provide exceptional customer experience and amazing products To be successful in this role you will: Passionate about food Ok with repetitive work Strong attention to detailHard working and able to work at a fast pace Be a quick learner to understand new machine operations Working towards and hitting daily targets Ok to do all areas of the job. Very proud of workspace, environment of cleanliness Happy cleaning Be able to follow simple instructions Experience & Qualifications Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Have worked in an approved food control plan environment Experience in a food manufacturing environment Experience in machinery operations, especially fillers and mixers Ideally hold current Forklift license Why Us?
