An opportunity exists for an experienced Caregiver / Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Christchurch. Our Clinical Manager provides a supportive and exciting working environment and ensures there are plenty of opportunities for career growth, development and progression. Permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Wage rate of $28.25 per hour. Weekly roster with rotating shifts including weekends and/or night shifts. You will be responsible for : Caring for our residents and developing lasting relationships with them and their families. Following our resident's individual care plans. Ensuring best practices in site safety and health & safety are observed. Our successful applicant will have : Previous experience in a similar role with NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 4 minimum or equivalent qualification. Previous experience with a digital resident clinical note system. Medication competency required. Possess great communication skills. Empathy towards the elderly, good interpersonal and customer service skills. Honesty and integrity and a reliable track record. Applicants may be required to attend an interview in person.
