Primary Mental Health AOD Clinician - Copy Mō te whakahaere | About Us Te Manu Toroa (the albatross which glides the ocean) was established in 1997 to provide a Kaupapa Māori model of health care for Māori in the Mai Ngā Kuri-a-Wharei ki Ōtamarākau rohe (Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Katikati and Te Puke – the Western Bay of Plenty). We are a member of Ngā Mataapuna Oranga PHO, a Whānau Ora collective focused on improving whānau health and wellbeing across Tauranga Moana. As a Primary Mental Health & AOD Clinician at Te Manu Toroa, you'll provide early intervention, assessment, brief therapeutic support, and addiction services to adults and young people experiencing mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) challenges. For this role you must have a Mental Health and Addiction qualification and be currentlyDAAPANZ accreditated. You’ll work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver a service that is: Recovery-focused Strengths-based This role offers the opportunity to make meaningful and lasting impacts by supporting people early, helping them build resilience, strengthen wellbeing, and achieve their goals.
