We're looking for a Garden Centre Manager who brings energy, commercial acumen, and a genuine love of people, horticulture and retail. You'll own the performance of a busy, seasonal department, lead a talented team, and bring the kind of leadership that turns a great garden centre into an even greater one! About the role: This is a role for someone who likes to be close to the action. You'll be on the floor, setting the standard, coaching the team, and making sure every part of the garden centre is working together to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Your key priorities will include: Leading, developing, and inspiring a high-performing team of garden specialists. Creating a destination garden centre that customers actively choose to visit. Driving sales, margin, stock availability, and waste performance across all categories. Bringing the space to life through strong merchandising, seasonal displays, and retail theatre. About you: You're a 'hands-on' leader with the ability to energise a team to perform at their best You know how to balance customer experience with commercial performance You come from an 'experiential' retail/showroom environment - understanding the principles that transform physical stores into immersive, interactive destinations rather than just places to buy goods You bring relevant leadership experience in a similar, fast-paced environment You ideally bring strong knowledge of plants, horticulture, or outdoor living products. You have the commercial confidence to manage KPIs, analyse results, and make smart business decisions.
