About the Role We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Specialist to manage our Chinese and English social media platforms. You will plan, create and publish engaging content across social media, including copy, visual content and short-form videos, while monitoring performance to continuously improve engagement and strengthen our brand presence. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operation of the company's Chinese and English social media accounts, including WeChat Official Account, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), LinkedIn and Facebook, covering content planning, publishing and account maintenance. Develop and execute social media content plans in line with the company's brand positioning and business direction to continuously enhance brand awareness, professional image and audience engagement. Plan, write, edit and publish day-to-day social media content, including company updates, product-related content, industry news, factory updates, exhibitions and brand activities. Adapt and optimise content topics, copy, visual formats and publishing approaches based on the audience and characteristics of each social media platform to improve content quality and engagement. Design and create day-to-day visual content for social media, including social media graphics, posters, cover images and basic promotional materials, ensuring consistency with the company's brand guidelines. Assist with short-form video content, including content planning, organising materials, basic video editing and publishing, and adapt video content for different social media platforms. Monitor social media performance and industry trends, regularly review key metrics such as reach, engagement and account growth, and use insights to continuously optimise content and social media strategies. Work closely with the marketing team to support brand promotion, product campaigns, exhibitions and other marketing projects. About You Previous experience in social media management, digital content, new media or a related field. Experience independently managing corporate or brand social media accounts is preferred. Familiarity with major Chinese and English-language social media platforms and a good understanding of the content styles, audiences and operating practices of different platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to independently create and manage day-to-day social media content in both languages. Strong content planning and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop content aligned with brand positioning and the characteristics of different platforms. Good graphic design skills and proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other relevant design tools, with the ability to independently create day-to-day social media visual assets. Video content creation and editing skills, with the ability to support the production and publishing of short-form video content. Strong creative judgement, attention to detail, brand awareness and visual sense, with the ability to maintain consistent content and visual identity across different platforms. Proactive, responsible and well organised, with good time management skills and the ability to independently manage content schedules and meet publishing deadlines. Experience in health supplements, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food, FMCG or a related industry would be an advantage.
