Supply Chain Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Supply Chain Analyst (12-Month Fixed Term) NZ Sugar Company Ltd Are you highly organised, analytical and passionate about keeping products moving through the supply chain? The Opportunity As our Supply Chain Analyst (12-month Fixed Term Contract), you'll be responsible for managing the purchase, shipping and distribution of imported products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting supply planning across a diverse portfolio of products. Working closely with suppliers, logistics providers, operations, finance and customer service teams, you'll ensure inventory is available when customers need it while identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance. What you’ll do: You’ll play a key role in supporting our supply chain operations by: Planning and coordinating imports, shipping schedules and inbound deliveries. Managing inventory levels to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining appropriate stock holdings. Monitoring inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes and variance investigations. Preparing and communicating shipping schedules and inventory reports. Coordinating third-party packing requirements to ensure product availability. Liaising with suppliers, freight providers, customs agents and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues. Supporting new product development initiatives by ensuring materials are available and inventory is set up accurately. What you’ll bring: You’ll be a proactive problem-solver with strong planning and analytical skills. Ideally, you’ll bring: Experience in supply chain, inventory management, planning, procurement or logistics. Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP. Strong analytical and reporting skills with intermediate to advanced Excel capability. The ability to investigate issues, analyse data and identify practical solutions. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or distribution environments would be advantageous. Exposure to demand planning, inventory control or import coordination would be highly regarded. NZPICS qualification or similar supply chain qualification would be advantageous. Why NZ Sugar?
