This is a temporary role offering full-time hours with ongoing work available for the right person. Full-time hours Ongoing temporary assignment Immediate start available Competitive hourly rate based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with a respected local manufacturer About the Role Working as part of the workshop team, you'll be responsible for fabricating and welding quality steel components while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and weld steel components from engineering drawings and jigs Operate a range of workshop machinery, hand tools, and fabrication equipment Produce high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail Meet production schedules and manage your time effectively Complete job documentation and time sheets accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Identify hazards and follow Health & Safety procedures Take care of workshop equipment and tools Assist the wider workshop team as required What We're Looking For Previous experience in light fabrication and MIG welding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using fabrication equipment and workshop machinery Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Excellent time management and organizational skills Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team A positive, reliable, and can-do attitude Sound understanding of workplace Health & Safety Construction or site experience is an advantage Full Class 1 driver's license preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
