What You Will Be Doing: Operating a forklift and reach truck within our storerooms, the store and the external yard Ensuring all stock is available for our morning team members and ultimately our customers Stocking shelves and cages by hand Retrieving pellets from the ground level and using the reach truck up to higher racking Completing tasks quickly, safely and accurately Following procedures and Health & Safety requirements General housekeeping within your work areas and the wider store Be an active member of the Dry Goods, Grocery, Operations team. Who are we looking for? To be successful in this role you are someone who: Has 1 or more years’ previous experience in a similar role Has a current forklift license Is safety focused Must have a clean Ministry of Justice criminal conviction check Is physically fit and can meet the requirements of the role – involves walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting of up to 25kg throughout the 8.5 hour shift Has a full, clean driver's license (as there may be no public transport when you start your shift) Can communicate well with people from all walks of life Has School Certificate, NCEA Level 2 or equivalent Is self-motivated Takes pride in their work Enjoys working within in a team Has demonstrated the ability to successfully work under pressure and remain calm in difficult situations Is focused on maintaining standards and has an eye for detail All applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa with no restrictions (with at least 12 months remaining). #J-18808-Ljbffr
