SOC Analyst (Level 1, 2 & 3) - MSSP - Leading Cyber Security Provider! What You'll Be Doing: Monitoring security events across multiple client environments Investigating alerts and identifying genuine security incidents Responding to cyber security incidents and coordinating remediation activities Performing threat hunting and proactive security monitoring (Level 2 & 3) Conducting malware analysis and forensic investigations (Level 3) Escalating incidents where appropriate Working closely with clients during security events Developing and improving SOC processes and documentation Contributing to security automation initiatives Keeping up to date with the latest cyber threats and attack techniques What You’ll Bring: Experience working in a Security Operations Centre (Level dependent) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices Experience investigating security alerts and incidents Excellent communication skills A genuine passion for cyber security Relevant certifications are highly regarded (Security+, CySA+, SC-200, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or similar) Experience Across a Mix of: Microsoft Sentinel Microsoft Defender XDR CrowdStrike Splunk Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Microsoft 365 Security Azure AWS SIEM & SOAR EDR/XDR Threat Intelligence Incident Response Vulnerability Management Identity & Access Management Networking and Firewalls What’s In It For You?
