Beyond Recruitment – Wellington, North Island 12-month fixed term contract – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Wellington based, car parking available Competitive salary up to $85K and benefits Our client islooking for a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a major infrastructure programme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an infrastructure project which will have a meaningful impact in Wellington and across New Zealand. Reporting to the Project Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the project runs smoothly by providing coordination, administrative, and document control support across a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the project team Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and track actions through to completion Maintain and manage project documentation across systems such as SharePoint and other internal systems. Monitor project registers, RFIs, correspondence, and change requests Support project planning, reporting, and governance processes Act as a central point of contact for project-related queries Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Assist with financial administration including invoice processing and budget tracking Support continuous improvement of project systems and processes About you You are detail-oriented, highly organised, and thrive in a dynamic project environment. You’re confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and enjoy keeping things on track. You will bring Experience in project coordination, administration, or document control Exposure to infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects (preferred, but not essential) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and project systems (e.g. SharePoint) Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to follow through on actions Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels Please note that pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is part of the recruitment process.
