About the role As a Registered Nurse atWakefieldHospital,you will provide exceptional patient care as part of a high-performing team acrossouroperating theatres. You will: Provide evidence-based nursing care for patients Provide carein accordance withbest nursing practices, company policies and in collaboration with the patient, theirfamilyand the wider healthcare team Constructively critiquenew ideas, proposedchangesand developments before adopting new evidence-based practices Anticipate patient’s requirements, discuss with medical colleagues,andorganise necessary investigations and equipment Maintain patient safety and integrity byanticipatingand managing risks and potential complications in treatments,proceduresand the surgical environment – including risks related to infection,positioningand restraint Your practice will be in line with the code of conduct and professional boundaries of the nursing professional body. This is a permanent positionfor 80 hours per fortnight and islocatedatWakefieldHospital, Wellington. About you You willhave excellent organisational skills, be flexible and open-minded, and successfully work within a team. You will alsodemonstrateand have the following skills and experiences: Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC Relevant bachelor’s degree or Hospital based training At least 2 years nursing experience in theatre Knowledge of the best practice relevant nursing standards of care Understanding of health, disease,treatmentand care of the human body, as well as computer literate We welcome applications from people with theright to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
