About the Role As Programme Manager – National Bowel Screening Programme, you will lead the operational delivery, performance, and quality of the NBSP within the Regional Cancer Treatment Service portfolio. This is an opportunity to drive service development, strengthen system performance, and ensure the programme delivers equitable health outcomes across the region. In this role, you will work closely with clinical leaders, primary care, and national stakeholders while ensuring compliance with national standards and governance frameworks. You will also champion equity-focused initiatives and lead continuous improvement to enhance screening participation and outcomes. About you As an experienced health leader, you will bring: Proven experience in health service leadership or programme delivery Strong understanding of population health, screening programmes, or complex health systems Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and deliver results Experience working with Māori, Pacific, and diverse communities Commitment to equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi Relevant postgraduate qualification (or working towards) About the Team/Service The role sits within the Regional Cancer Treatment Service, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cancer screening and early detection services across MidCentral.
