Accounts Payable Team Leader | Motion Industries Auckland Motion is a business operating across the Asia Pacific region including New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore who provide a range of industrial products & engineering services to industry to keep the world moving! We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Accounts Payable Lead to support the accurate and timely delivery of accounts payable services across Motion New Zealand. In this role, you will manage supplier invoices, reconciliations and account queries while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will also help improve processes, maintain compliance and support the wider finance team. What kind of work may be involved? Process stock, purchase order and general ledger invoices Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts Resolve invoice, payment, coding and system discrepancies Process credit notes, journals, claims and adjustments Complete supplier reconciliations and clear outstanding accounts Maintain supplier records and account information Support month-end, audit and compliance activities Help improve accounts payable processes and systems Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders Accounts Payable experience, with the ability to support and guide internal stakeholders Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with high-volume invoice processing and reconciliations Excel capability and experience using CAAPS and Pronto Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to build effective supplier and stakeholder relationships Ability to work independently and collaboratively Understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements What is in it for you?
