The Role As a registered electrician (industrial) at Wells, you will use your technical expertise to deliver electrical solutions safely and efficiently. You will work across a range of projects, from commercial and industrial installations to specialised areas such as EV chargers and medical environments. Acting as a key member of our project teams, you will ensure work is completed to the highest standards, maintain excellent client relationships, and uphold Wells’ quality, safety, and HSE standards. Duties & Responsibilities Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and inspections to a high standard. Work safely across diverse environments, including commercial, industrial, and medical projects. Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Record and report accurate QA/QC data and timesheets where required. Contribute hands-on to project work as needed, supporting team efficiency and success. Contribute to an on-call roster, with occasional early morning or after hours shifts to support customer requests. Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience Registered Electrician (EWRB) in New Zealand. Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance. Experience in EV charger installation and medical environments is advantageous. Strong understanding of health & safety standards and commitment to safe work practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Current driver’s licence. Ability to work flexibly across different environments and projects.
