About the Role We have multiple permanent and fixed term positions available (please indicate in your cover letter what you are seeking). This will be based in our general x-ray team who work between Christchurch and Burwood Hospitals, covering all aspects of our busy 24/7 x-ray service including ED, outpatients, fluoroscopy, NICU and theatre imaging. All roles will include day, evening, night and weekend shifts. Weoffer an amazing team, ultramodern facilities and a work/life balance that issecond to none. In this role, you will be responsible for: Delivering quality patient-centred radiographic services which are efficient and effective for the needs of the patients and the service Effective documentation of procedures (where appropriate) The support and facilitation of quality indicators/programmes Supervision and clinical training of Medical Imaging Students, where appropriate About You Thesuccessful candidates will demonstrate: Solid experience of general imaging, preferably in alarger centre but this is not essential A genuine passion for radiography. You willdemonstrate this when teaching the Ara students who we host for clinicalplacements A strong work ethic and a dedication to teamwork A strong commitment to both patient care and producinghigh quality imaging across ED, inpatients, outpatients, fluoroscopy andtheatre Experience of dealing with patients from a diverserange of backgrounds Registration with the MRTB and a valid practicingcertificate You will be required to participate in a 24/7 rostered service Workingfor Health New Zealand HealthNew Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellnesses.
