Full-Time Permanent Relief Operator - Wellington We are currently seeking an honest, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our Wellington team in a full-time, permanent Relief Operator position. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll provide operational support across both our warehouse and field teams, covering annual leave, sick leave, and other operational requirements. One day you may be loading stock and assisting in the warehouse, while the next you'll be out on the road servicing vending machines across the Lower North Island. The role is Monday to Friday, with a 6:00 am start each day. Typical shifts are between 8 and 10 hours, depending on operational requirements. As a Relief Operator, you'll work across our Wellington operation, supporting vending routes throughout the Lower North Island, including Whanganui, Linton, Palmerston North, and the Wairarapa. Flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential. A fully maintained company van is provided for all work-related travel, including commuting to and from your home. The successful applicant will be responsible for: Preparing and loading stock for vending machines. Servicing, filling, and merchandising vending machines. Ensuring machines are clean, fully stocked, and operating correctly. Travelling between customer locations throughout the Lower North Island. Handling cash and completing daily reconciliations. Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs. Setting up new vending machines and equipment. Providing relief support within the warehouse, including picking, loading, and general warehouse duties. Delivering exceptional customer service while managing your time efficiently. Applicants must be able to: Hold a current New Zealand Driver Licence. Be a New Zealand Citizen or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa. Provide a current work permit if applying on a student visa. Consent to a Criminal History and ACC Check. Pass a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol test. The ideal applicant will have: Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. A strong work ethic with a reliable employment history. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
