A practical Business Systems Analyst to join a manufacturing business and help improve the way its systems and processes work. This role would suit someone who has worked in a manufacturing environment and has had hands‑on involvement with an ERP system — perhaps helping modify or improve the system, working across different ERP modules, testing changes, supporting users or improving business processes. You don’t need to be a highly experienced or senior Business Analyst. What’s more important is that you understand how a manufacturing business operates, are comfortable working with ERP systems, and can work with people across the business to identify and implement improvements. What you’ll be doing Working with different teams to understand their processes and system requirements Helping improve and get more value from the ERP system Supporting ERP changes, modifications and system improvements Gathering requirements and documenting processes Testing system changes and helping with implementation Supporting and training users Working across areas such as Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and IT Helping identify opportunities to make processes simpler and more efficient We’re looking for A practical Business Systems Analyst to join a manufacturing business and help improve the way its systems and processes work. What you’ll be doing Working with different teams to understand their processes and system requirements Helping improve and get more value from the ERP system Supporting ERP changes, modifications and system improvements Gathering requirements and documenting processes Testing system changes and helping with implementation Supporting and training users Working across areas such as Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and IT Helping identify opportunities to make processes simpler and more efficient What we’re looking for Ideally, you’ll have: Experience working in a manufacturing environment Hands‑on experience with an ERP system Exposure to several ERP modules or different areas of the business Experience being involved in an ERP modification, implementation, upgrade or improvement project Good problem‑solving and analytical skills The ability to communicate with both system/technical people and everyday users A practical, organised and solutions‑focused approach Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Apps or Power BI would be useful, but we’re open to people who have worked with other ERP systems and can demonstrate relevant manufacturing systems experience. This could be a great opportunity for someone who has become the “go-to” ERP or systems person within a manufacturing business and is ready to move into a dedicated business systems role.
