Are you a seasoned Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step into leadership, or an experienced Practice Manager ready for a new challenge? PetVet Silverstream is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead our dedicated team and support the continued success of our thriving small animal clinic in Upper Hutt, Wellington. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary care, quality products, and outstanding service in a friendly and caring environment. We are proud of our close-knit, supportive team and are looking for a leader who can foster a positive culture while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. What We're Looking For A confident and approachable people leader who can motivate, mentor and support team performance Previous leadership or management experience within veterinary, healthcare or a customer-focused environment. Veterinary Nurse experience is ideal, but not essential Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities A proactive approach to rostering, workflow management and team development Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members and suppliers Commercial awareness and an interest in driving practice performance A hands-on attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever needed The Role Includes Leading the day-to-day operations of the clinic Managing rosters, administration, stock control and facility requirements Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee development Conducting team meetings, performance reviews and training initiatives Promoting a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration and exceptional client service Working closely with leadership to achieve operational and financial goals Ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient care and client experiences What's on Offer?
