We're looking for someone who enjoys the thrill of winning business just as much as looking after existing customers. About the Role You’ll spend your days out meeting customers, identifying opportunities, solving problems and growing your territory. While you’ll inherit an established customer base to maintain and develop, your primary focus will be generating new business, opening new accounts and helping customers discover how Northland Cleaning Supplies can improve their purchasing, service and value. Your territory will cover Whangārei, Mangawhai to Dargaville, with regular travel throughout. You’ll be responsible for: Prospecting and securing new business opportunities. Growing sales within existing customer accounts. Building long-term relationships based on trust and service. Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to completion. Identifying customer needs and recommending tailored product solutions. Working alongside our customer service, warehouse and delivery teams to provide outstanding customer experiences. Representing a respected Northland business with nearly 40 years of industry experience. About You You're motivated by achieving results. You enjoy meeting new people, aren't afraid to knock on doors, and genuinely enjoy turning opportunities into long-term customers. You're someone who: Loves the challenge of hunting for new business. Is confident starting conversations with decision makers. Builds relationships quickly and professionally. Is organised, self-motivated and manages your own time effectively. Enjoys being on the road and working independently. Takes pride in providing outstanding customer service after the sale. Successful applicants will have proven experience in sales or business development.
