We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Product Quality and Quality Control team. About the Role Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring raw materials and packaging materials meet quality standards before use in production. You will perform sampling, inspection, material handling, and support Quality Control laboratory activities. This role offers a blend of warehouse-based quality sampling activities and laboratory support, including operation of analytical equipment such as FTIR. Key Responsibilities Sample and inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials in accordance with GMP requirements and company procedures. Ensure materials are correctly identified, labelled, stored, and tracked. Prepare and submit samples for internal and external laboratory testing. Support Quality Control activities, including FTIR testing and other laboratory analysis as required. Maintain reference and retention samples. Complete accurate documentation in accordance with GMP requirements. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S practices. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and use of PPE. Assist with training of new team members when required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A science qualification or relevant scientific background. Experience in a GMP-regulated, pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical, medical device, or related manufacturing environment. Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, laboratory work, or materials sampling. Experience operating analytical instruments such as FTIR would be highly advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good written and verbal communication skills. A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
