Field Technician

As a Field Technician, you'll be responsible for visiting customer sites to deliver, set up, inspect, monitor, service and retrieve pumping and power equipment. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure our customers receive safe, reliable and professional service. Key responsibilities Delivering, setting up and commissioning pumps, generators and associated equipment Carrying out routine site inspections and equipment checks Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any issues Packing down, cleaning and preparing equipment for the next hire Assisting with emergency breakdowns and after-hours callouts when rostered Providing excellent customer service while working safely on customer sites About you Approximately 10-20 hours per week, with additional hours available during busy periods Availability to work evenings, weekends and participate in an on-call roster A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions A positive attitude and willingness to learn Basic mechanical aptitude is desirable but not essential The legal right to work in New Zealand Competitive hourly rate plus on-call allowance Ongoing training and development Opportunities to gain experience with industry-leading pumping and power equipment A supportive and experienced team environment The opportunity to work on a wide range of infrastructure and civil projects across Auckland About us NZ Pump & Energy is a leading provider of pumping, dewatering and temporary power solutions across New Zealand.
