Product Data Coordinator – 3 month fixed term We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support a business-wide product data improvement project. This fixed term project role will assist in collecting, validating and organising commercial and technical product information from suppliers to improve the quality of our product catalogue and prepare data for migration into our Product Information Management (PIM) system. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal Business Segment Managers to obtain missing product information, validate technical details and manually compile accurate product data into structured Excel templates. This is a 3 month project with a clear objective of improving the completeness, consistency and accuracy of product information across our product range. Key Responsibilities Contact suppliers by phone and email to request technical and commercial product information. Research supplier websites and official resources to locate product information where available. Collect product descriptions, specifications, technical attributes, manuals, catalogues, certifications, images and other supporting documentation. Record the source website or document reference for all collected information to maintain data traceability. Liaise with Business Segment Managers to validate product information before it is entered into the master dataset. Enter validated information accurately into Excel templates. Identify missing information and proactively follow up suppliers until complete. Ensure product information is consistent, complete and suitable for upload into the Product Information Management (PIM) platform. Assist with general product data cleansing and quality improvement activities as required. Skills & Experience Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with data. Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Ability to research and gather information from websites, catalogues, manuals and other technical resources. Confident communication skills with the ability to follow up suppliers by phone and email. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple information requests simultaneously. Self-motivated with the persistence to chase missing information and see tasks through to completion. Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders. Previous experience in data entry, administration, procurement support, product management support, customer service, or supplier coordination. #J-18808-Ljbffr
