Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning Services

Fusion Property Group Ltd – Wellington Central, North Island We are seeking an organized, hands-on and customer-focused Area Manager to lead the delivery of commercial cleaning services across a large portfolio of Kmart sites starting 1st October 2026. Based in Wellington, you will oversee operations across Palmerston North, Petone, Porirua, Richmond, Blenheim, Queenstown, Invercargill and Dunedin . This is a key operational role for someone who can build strong teams, maintain high service standards, respond quickly to site requirements, and travel regularly to support geographically spread locations. Commercial cleaning management roles commonly involve site visits, service-level monitoring, rostering, health and safety oversight, and performance management. Travel regularly between sites, including occasional overnight travel where required. You will ideally have: Previous experience managing commercial cleaning, facilities, retail cleaning, hospitality, or multi-site operations. Experience supervising, rostering and supporting teams. Strong client-service, communication and relationship-management skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues calmly and professionally. Sound understanding of health and safety obligations in an operational environment. Good administration skills and confidence using email, mobile devices and roster/reporting systems. A current full New Zealand driver license—this is essential. The flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and after-hours support when operationally required.
