General Practitioner | Clinical Lead Opportunity Join a supportive, collaborative and community-focused clinic Flexible full-time or part-time options | 0.6–0.8 FTE preferred Monday – Friday | No weekends, public holidays or after-hours About the opportunity Are you an experienced GP looking for a practice where your clinical expertise, ideas and contribution are genuinely valued ? At Clendon Medical Centre , we are looking for a passionate General Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive and collaborative team. We are flexible around hours and ideally we are looking for someone who would like to work 0.6–0.8 FTE , although we are happy to discuss what works for you. For the right person, there is also an exciting opportunity to step into a Clinical Lead role , with dedicated leadership and administration time. As Clinical Lead, you will have the opportunity to help shape the way we deliver care, champion health equity, support clinical excellence and contribute to meaningful quality improvement. We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together, sharing ideas and finding clinically effective and efficient ways of working. About you We are looking for a GP who brings sound clinical skills, excellent communication and a genuine commitment to caring for our diverse community. You will ideally have: GPEP2, GPEP3 or Fellowship-level experience Strong clinical and communication skills A patient-centred and compassionate approach The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) Current medical indemnity insurance Current ACLS certification Familiarity with MedTech Evolution or a similar practice management system is advantageous A commitment to health equity and culturally responsive care , including an understanding of Māori tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand For the Clinical Lead opportunity For the Clinical Lead role, you will also need: FRNZCGP / Vocational registration An interest in clinical leadership, quality improvement and service development The ability to inspire, support and collaborate with colleagues The opportunity to contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, equity initiatives and the ongoing development of our practice .
