Baker

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, positive and experienced baker who would enjoy the challenges of supermarket bakery retailing. This is a full time position, working 45 hours per week in a small and fantastic team. The days and hours of work will be discussed with the successful applicant, but include early starts and weekend work. This is what you will need: A Bakery Qualification of Level 3 or higher or extensive experience in a bakery is essential Having the right can do attitude to positively contribute to the team The ideal candidate will be: Passionate about the art of baking and delivering outstanding quality Focused on providing exceptional customer service at all times An excellent communicator who develops relationships and fosters teamwork. Engaging and positive. Willing to learn new skills and able to work independently. Key responsibilities of this position include: Ensuring our bakery department provides a superior level of customer service. Preparing and baking dough, specialty breads, muffins, cakes and other bakery items on a large scale. Presenting and merchandising the department to a high standard. Assisting with all other duties that form part of the bakery operation, including packaging and presentation of products Maintaining clean and tidy work areas A commitment to our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.
