Timber Yardman

Pole Timber & Hardware Ltd is a timber merchant and manufacturer of prenail frames and trusses based in Manukau. We have been supplying the residential construction industry for over 30 years and we need more staff to keep up with demand. We are looking for an enthusiastic yardman to join our dynamic team. If you are keen to learn about the building industry and its products, plus you have an awesome customer service presence or are just great with people, this is the job for you. Duties include: Serving customers and fulfilling timber orders Re-stocking timber yard and hardware store Unloading inwards goods Competitive starting rate Great team environment with a company that looks after its staff About you: Forklift license an advantage but not necessary as training can be given Knowledge of the construction industry an advantage Must be physically fit as heavy lifting is part of the role Great communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with our trade customers This is a full-time position, based in Manukau: Monday - Friday: 7am - 5pm Saturday: 7am - 12pm (rostered) Applicants must have the right to work in NZ.
