To help us with this, we are searching for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team What you'll be busy with: Plays a key role in delivering high-quality regulatory and financial reporting, including RBNZ, Board and Audit and Risk Committee reports. Helps simplify and strengthen reporting templates, analysis and processes. Keeps up to date with regulatory changes and supports the business to meet new requirements. Builds strong relationships with auditors, regulators, subsidiaries and key external stakeholders Turns peer and industry analysis into useful insights that support better decision-making and continuous improvement. Plays a key role in managing securitisation vehicles, trust deed requirements and reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy. Contributes to projects including analysis, modelling, process improvement and implementation support. What you'll bring: Substantial experience in producing group statutory financial statements using advanced spreadsheeting skills. Knowledge of financial reporting regulations. Excellent research and analysis, preferably with experience in data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI. You’ll be a qualified accountant ideally with financial industry experience.
