Cyber Incident Coordinator (Level 1)

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is a part of the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) | Te Tira Tiaki, providing cyber security services to all New Zealanders. The role In this key role as a Level 1 Incident Coordinator, you will be managing incident response operations through the lifecycle of a cyber-security incident. You will be part of a close-knit unit, tasked with effective engagement across industry and the wider organisation, by providing investigative incident response and digital forensic services to victims of malicious cyber activity in New Zealand. Whilst this position is not super technical, you can expect to have a case management approach, offering immediate guidance to victims, with frequent stakeholder engagement. Your work will culminate in the production of high-quality reports and briefings for the consumption of senior stakeholders and technical specialists.
