Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SlaughterSupervisor to join our team at AFFCO Rangiuru, located in Te Puke. Thesuccessful applicant may work with a variety of productsincluding lamb, mutton and calves. Reporting to the Production Manager, the primaryobjective of the role is to manage your team and the department to meetcompany, customer and regulatory standards whilst maximising profitabilityand efficiency. Ensuring that procedures and regulations within the associatedproduction areas are followed is a must. Youwill be proactive and organised with a "hands on" approach to inspireyour team. We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join ourteam but also encourage applications from experienced team members and leadinghands who have demonstrated leadership capability and are ready to take thenext step in their career. Keyresponsibilities of the position include: Consistent monitoring of processing quality in theroom to ensure high standards at all times Solid knowledge of processing techniques toassist other staff and help set benchmarks Ensuring that labour resource is utilised foroptimum efficiency and throughput Making sure that all compliance and regulatoryrequirements are strictly adhered to and that the process is in control underHACCP Training, developing and mentoring staff Continuously improving standards andprofitability Recordingand processing documentation/departmental administration in an accurate andtimely manner Qualifications Previous experience in a meat processing environment is preferential, however not required. We are looking for a practical person who understands the importance of regulatory requirements and compliance, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to think on their feet. #J-18808-Ljbffr
