Job Description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. Wolfbrook Property Management – Wellington Central, North Island Done with the office? Good. This role barely sees one. We're creating a brand new role at Wolfbrook Property Management and we want someone who genuinely loves being out in the field, has a sharp eye for detail, and brings real technical know-how from property valuation, building inspection, or Healthy Homes assessment. This isn't a property manager role. There's no portfolio to juggle, no tenancy disputes to manage, and no desk you're expected to sit at. Your job is to show up, inspect thoroughly, document professionally, and flag what matters. Day in, day out. If that sounds like your kind of day, read on. The Role As our Property Inspection Specialist, you'll take ownership of routine, periodic, entry, and exit inspections across a portfolio of 500 residential properties throughout New Zealand. Your scheduling is handled, our virtual assistant team takes care of that, so you can focus entirely on doing the inspections well. Conducting 8–9 property inspections across assigned areas, clustered by geography. Completing detailed digital inspection reports and checklists using PropertyMe. Photographing property conditions comprehensively and systematically. Identifying maintenance issues, logging them with the right urgency, and liaising with contractors where needed. Flagging health and safety concerns, compliance issues, and tenancy matters to the Property Management team. Applying your knowledge of the Healthy Homes Standards to spot compliance concerns early. Who We're Looking For You're someone who takes quiet pride in doing detailed work well. The kind of person who notices the cracked skirting board everyone else walks past and writes it up properly. Your background is likely in one of these areas: Property valuation (registered or previously registered with NZIV, or equivalent). Building inspection or building surveying (NZIBS credentials or equivalent). Construction trades, with a strong eye for defects and building standards. You'll also bring: A full, current NZ Driver Licence, you'll be on the road every day. Proven ability to produce clear, accurate written reports under your own steam. Comfort with digital tools and mobile platforms (PropertyMe experience a bonus). A professional, respectful manner with tenants and contractors. The self-discipline to manage a structured daily workload independently. What's in it for You Competitive salary, we'll talk numbers with the right person. Company vehicle, fully maintained, no running costs on you. Company fuel card for business use. Company smartphone and tablet, everything you need to do the job. A genuinely autonomous role, your schedule is set, your day is yours to run. A new, purpose-built role with room to shape how it works. Backing from an established property management business with a strong portfolio across New Zealand. About Wolfbrook Property Management Wolfbrook Property Management is part of the wider Wolfbrook Group, a diversified New Zealand property business spanning property development, sales, management, and capital. Our property management team looks after hundreds of residential properties across New Zealand, and we're serious about doing it well. This is a new role and a direct investment in the quality of our inspection programme. #J-18808-Ljbffr
