About the role As an Employment Coordinator, you will play a key role in empowering people to develop the skills and confidence they need to be work-ready. You will support individuals to identify and achieve their employment goals, develop tailored plans, and successfully transition into meaningful work. A key part of the role involves building strong, positive relationships with employers and the wider community to create inclusive employment opportunities. Our Employment Coordinators strive to achieve a genuine win-win – ensuring employers find the right candidate while individuals receive ongoing support to thrive in their roles. Skills and Experience Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive, collaborative, and professional relationship Strong motivation to achieve goals and meet targets Effective problem solving and decision-making capabilities Networking strengths and existing community connections Passion and commitment to supporting people with disabilities to live a “life like any other” Professional presentation and the ability to work with a wide range of people High level of computer literacy A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related field (advantageous) Experience in recruitment and/or within the disability sector (advantageous) While work experience and qualifications are valuable, the right attitude, drive, and passion for making a positive difference are what truly matters.
