Pharmac - Pharmaceutical Management Agency – Wellington, North Island Full time, Permanent Hybrid 7d ago , from Pharmac - Pharmaceutical Management Agency Advisor, Business Operations & Compliance team - July 2026 We are seeking experienced, passionate people who will help take our team to the next level. This role sits within our Business Operations & Compliance team (Corporate Directorate) and leads Pharmac’s compliance, monitoring and reporting workplan for the protective security, health & safety, and risk committees. You will advise, develop and build Pharmac’s capability across key areas, including Records and Information Management, Copyright, Business Continuity & Emergency Management, Health & Safety, Security, Risk Management, Incident, and the Complaints process. You will be experienced and accountable at providing high quality advice and at preparing detailed written reports on operational and compliance activities. This role works collaboratively with other internal stakeholders, including the board and senior leaders and wider directorates, and including the internal security, and health & safety committees, and the Business Operations & Compliance team. Who are we looking for? | Mā wai te mahi nei? Your will be experienced in producing high-quality written advice and reporting. Your problem solving and attention to detail skills will be reflected and demonstrated in your well-maintained registers, records and investigating incidents and complaints. The role has a level of autonomy and applicants will need to be self-driven to manage time-pressured work but also need to work as part of a team. You can communicate technical and or complex issues in plain language, and support, guide and advise your manager. This is demonstrated in your commitment to deliver excellence across the organisation, and the Business Operations & Compliance workplan. Our ideal candidate will have: Demonstrated advisor role experience Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to translate complicated information into plain English communications Excellent problem-solving skills, and experience at producing detailed, analytical and evidence-based reports Self-manages and can take the initiative Able to demonstrates sensitivity, privacy and confidentiality when investigating complaints process Excellent understanding of the machinery of Government and a working knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and its amendments Demonstrated experience and understanding of Risk and/or Incident Management and its application At Pharmac | TePātakaWhaiorangawe endeavour to deliver the best health outcomes for all New Zealanders through investment in medicines and medical devices.
