Taonga Education Centre Trust in Auckland is seeking a Registered Teacher in our Mt Eden Early Childhood Centre and 2 of our South Auckland centres. We have full time and part time roles available, permanent and fixed term. We are looking for experienced ECE educators who are passionate about generating that love for learning with each of our tamariki attending our centres. What you’ll be doing Implementing and maintaining high-quality early childhood education programmes that align with the Te Whāriki curriculum Building strong relationships with whānau and the local community to foster a sense of belonging Actively contributing to the centre’s continuous improvement and professional development initiatives What we’re looking for A current Practising Certificate as a Registered Teacher in New Zealand A Registered Kaiako with curriculum experience (min. 2-3 years experience), energetic, innovative, with a growth mindset. Have a deep understanding of the Te Whāriki curriculum and a commitment to culturally responsive practice and contribute to a curriculum that recognises tamariki identities, languages and cultures. Passion for creating enriching learning environments that support the holistic development of tamariki.
