A day off on your birthday after one year’s service. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Trade Counter Sales Person to join the friendly team at our Queenstown Branch . J. A. Russell Ltd is the largest New Zealand owned electrical wholesaler, we offer a wide range of electrical supplies and services to many different kinds of customers. On our Trade Counter, you will be the first point of contact for customers coming in to our Queenstown Branch. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, goods, and advice to our loyal customer base. Duties include: Working directly with customers to understand their needs Assisting customers with sales orders and returns Answering customer queries by phone and email Liaising with suppliers to ensure we can deliver the right products and solutions Hours: Monday to Friday, 45hours per week (between the hours of 7.30am – 5.00pm). What do I need? Proven experience in a similar role Ability to multitask and manage task effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills A can-do, positive attitude and a smart approach to problem-solving Computer literacy and the ability to learn and use systems Electrical product knowledge or previous electrical wholesaler experience would be advantageous, however if you have a passion for customer service excellence and are willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.
