Apprentice Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater), Auckland South | January 2027 Intake Tesla 2027 Apprentice Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) Program Kickstart your career in automotive with Tesla's 2027 Apprentice Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) program! This 3-year Apprenticeship Program is your opportunity to gain hands‑on experience through full-time work in our Body Repair Centres, while simultaneously studying to obtain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology). At Tesla, you'll work in a high tech, fast-paced environment with supportive management, mentorship and guidance from our expert Tesla Body Repair Technicians. This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and experience required to repair, replace and refit nonstructural vehicle panels that have been damaged as a result of a collision. For those who seek further career advancement opportunities, there is an option to include structural repair qualifications and experience within their apprenticeship. This program is a pathway to becoming a fully qualified Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater). Reviewing Applications: August – September 2026 Apprenticeship Start: late January 2027 Responsibilities Maintain workshop and vehicle cleanliness, and assist in day-to-day operations Support the wider Tesla Service Team in delivering outstanding customer experiences Learn and perform basic body repair work under supervision Learn to use diagnostic tools and automotive software systems Build knowledge across all Tesla models, service procedures and safety standards Requirements Completed Year 12 education Full Australian working rights Valid driver's license Be eligible to enroll with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and complete a Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology Strong communication, time management and attention to detail Passion or interest in automotive technology, mechanics and electric vehicles Proactive and initiative-driven with a team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn Genuine desire to build a long-term career as a Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) #J-18808-Ljbffr
