Join the team behind some of Queenstown's most memorable business events. Our team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Event Manager to join our Queenstown head office. HQ New Zealand has spent more than 25 years creating bespoke incentive programmes, conferences and events for business clients from around the world. Every programme is designed to showcase the very best experiences Queenstown and New Zealand have to offer. This full-time position, based in Queenstown with some travel required, offers an exciting opportunity for a career-minded professional to deliver unforgettable experiences while showcasing one of the world's most spectacular destinations. Key responsibilities include: Managing the end-to-end delivery of bespoke business events, conferences and incentive programmes. Building strong relationships with business clients, suppliers and tourism partners. Managing event budgets, timelines and logistics from planning through to on-site delivery. Coordinating multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Working collaboratively with the HQ team to deliver outstanding client experiences. We're looking for someone with: A genuine career in event management with a minimum of five years' dedicated experience. A proven track record delivering a diverse range of events from concept through to completion. Strong business acumen and experience working with senior stakeholders. Tourism industry experience would be an advantage. Experience with conference registration software would be highly regarded. Outstanding communication, organisation and relationship-building skills. The ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
