Overview We are seeking expressions of interest from an experienced English Language tutor to teach NZCEL Level 4 at our Raumanga campus. This role will lead the planning and delivery of our first face-to-face offering of the new NZCEL version, and will hold key accountabilities for meeting NZQA monitoring conditions attached to this qualification. In addition to the teaching component, this role is also responsible for reviewing and developing learning materials. This is a fixed-term position, commencing ASAP, and ending in August 2027. Skills, Experience and Attributes A degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject area At least 2 years’ experience delivering and assessing at NZCEL Level 4 Academic English Placement testing capability and experience, such as VITAL or other similar testing tools A commitment to quality education Understanding and empathy towards the challenges faced by international students Excellent administration and computer skills Excellent classroom and time management skills A team player committed to working cooperatively and making the department successful To be considered for this position, applicants must be a NZ Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident.
