About the Role Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients Deliver preventative healthcare, health promotion and chronic disease management Develop and maintain trusted relationships with patients and whānau Collaborate effectively with other health professionals and community services Maintain accurate clinical records and meet professional and regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development Support equitable health outcomes with a focus on culturally safe and whānau centred care About the Team/Service/Location The South Taranaki Rural Health General Practice, located at Hāwera Hospital, is a modern service run by a team of senior skilled clinicians such as general practitioners, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, and rural/urgent care doctors. We aim to provide a welcoming, safe environment for all with a focus on equity and patient-centred care.
