Find Recruitment – Wellington, North Island This established and evolving organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its core finance function and support the next stage of its growth. Reporting to a senior executive, this is a broad, hands-on leadership role with regular exposure to the Senior Leadership Team. You will manage a small finance team and take ownership of financial control, management reporting, compliance, planning and commercial analysis. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, developing and supporting a small finance team Overseeing month-end and year-end reporting Maintaining strong financial controls, processes and governance Delivering accurate management reports and meaningful commercial insights Leading budgeting, forecasting and broader FP&A activities Managing cash flow, working capital and balance-sheet integrity Overseeing tax, statutory and regulatory compliance Coordinating external audit and relationships with professional advisers Partnering with operational leaders and senior stakeholders Improving systems, reporting tools and finance processes Supporting commercial decisions, business cases and strategic initiatives About you You will be a qualified and commercially minded finance professional with experience in a broad Financial Controller or senior finance management position. You will be equally comfortable managing the detail, leading a team and presenting clear financial information to senior stakeholders. You will bring: A relevant professional accounting qualification Strong financial control and technical accounting capability Experience across management reporting, tax compliance and FP&A Previous responsibility for leading and developing finance staff Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills A practical, collaborative and improvement-focused approach The confidence to work closely with senior leaders while remaining hands-on This is an excellent opportunity for a capable finance leader seeking broad responsibility, meaningful senior-level exposure and the opportunity to shape a finance function. #J-18808-Ljbffr
