Summer Is Coming, so are the Needs for Traffic Workers, Operators Advanced Personnel Services – Auckland, North Island Advanced Personnel Services Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Traffic Workers and Operators to join our team on a casual basis during the busy summer season. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the construction and contracts management sector across Auckland , where your expertise will be crucial in managing traffic flow and ensuring safe working environments on construction sites, rural roads & Highways. As a casual worker, you'll have flexibility in your schedule while contributing to significant infrastructure projects throughout the region. Key responsibilities Managing and directing traffic flow on construction sites and roadworks to ensure public safety and project efficiency Operating traffic control equipment and signalling systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations Setting up, monitoring and maintaining traffic control devices including cones, barriers, and signage Communicating effectively with site management, contractors and the public regarding traffic procedures Conducting regular safety checks on all traffic management equipment and reporting any defects Adhering to health and safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment Responding promptly to changing site conditions and traffic patterns Maintaining detailed records of daily activities and incidents as required What we're looking for Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience in traffic management, construction site work, or a related field (preferred but not essential) Knowledge of traffic control procedures and New Zealand health and safety regulations Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety Flexibility and reliability with casual work arrangements Willingness to undertake relevant training and certifications (such as Traffic Management qualifications if not already held) What we offer Advanced Personnel Services Ltd is committed to providing competitive remuneration and a supportive work environment.
